A Wilkes County man was killed last week in a accident involving a tree.
49-year old Darrell Lee Greene of the Ferguson Community was working with others to move a log near Stony Fork Creek near his home.
The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office says Green was pronounced dead at the scene, about three miles from the Watauga County line.
