A mishap claimed the life of a Wilkes County man on Monday.
According to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year old Jeremy Edward Roberts of North Wilkesboro died as a result of an apparent accident involving a saw. Roberts was an employee at High Country Lumber and Mulch on Speedway Road in North Wilkesboro, where the accident was reported.
The NC Department of Labor is investigating.
