A Wilkes County man was killed on Thursday after being trapped under a tractor.
Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputies responded around Thursday, August 20th to a location on Sparta Road in McGrady. When Deputies arrived Wilkes EMS and the McGrady Fire Department were already at the scene with a deceased male.
The victim was identified as Danny Alvin Chastain, 59, of McGrady.
Chastain was found trapped underneath a tractor. The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
