Jamie Lee Hunt
Elkin Police Officers arrested Jamie Lee Hunt, 46, of North Ridge Road, Roaring River on June 4th. Allegedly, Hunt had gone to Crater Park in Elkin and was near a children’s play area. The arrest report states the playground was occupied by around 30 children.
Hunt has a 2003 Ohio conviction for sexual conduct with a minor. He is being held in the Surry County Detention Facility under a $5 million bond.
