An 8-year-old Wilkes County boy, who had been the subject of a massive search has been found deceased.
The child’s body was found in a pond about a quarter-mile from his home around noon on Wednesday, Aug. 21st. No foul play is suspected.
Zach Walker went missing from his home from South Lomax Road in Ronda at around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20. According to reports he was last seen in the front yard of his home.
Walker is described as a non-verbal autistic child.
