A historic day for Alexander Central High School. Junior Meredith Wike has been invited to attend Governor’s School, an opportunity for gifted students in NC since 1963. Wike joins Isaac Bowen and Jackson Rough who’ve also been selected.
This is the first time the school has been able to send three students to Governor’s School. The application and selection process are rigorous.
