Wike And Adams Lead Lady Cougars To Win At Davie County

Alexander Central 62 Davie County 47

Mocksville: Davie County lead the visitors by as many as 7 points early but the Lady Cougars found their footing and led 15-10 at the end of the opening period. AC would lead 31-16 at half in winning for the second-time in as many nights. Meredith Wike poured-in 27 points for Alexander Central, she collected 11 rebounds. Malayah Adams had 12 points and 9 assists. Davie County (5-3) was led by Avarie Martin with 22 points. AC improves to 6-2.

Varsity Men

Davie County 70 Alexander Central 37

The War Eagles trailed only once and dominated the Cougars shooting 54 percent from the field. Davie led 25-8 after the first quarter and 45-14 at halftime. Ethan Driver led Davie County (7-1) with 18. Jayon Connor paced ACHS (3-5) with 13 points and 9 rebounds.
