Weapons Charges Land Hickory Man In Jail

A Hickory man is facing weapons charges after his arrest Sunday morning.

Hickory Police charged 28-year old Keon Rashan Scott with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and malicious conduct by a prisoner. Scott is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $80,000. A Monday court date is scheduled in Newton.
