Two people suffered serious injuries Friday morning following a crash in Stony Point.
The crash occurred on Highway 90 near the Stony Point Fire Department. A motorcycle occupied by two people collided with another vehicle. The occupants of the motorcycle were transported, one by ambulance, another was airlifted from the scene to a regional medical facility. According to Alexander County Director of Public Services Doug Gillispie, both suffered severe injuries as the result of the accident.
