Two Taylorsville Residents Nabbed Early Friday Morning

A woman and a teen were arrested early Friday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to an incident on Linneys Mountain Road and arrested 19-year old Jeremiah Kole Elder of Taylorsville and charged him with seven counts of failure to appear and resisting arrest. Elder had missed court dates on a series of charges including felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and possession of schedule VI controlled substance. He remains in the Alexander County Dention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.

37-year old Ghenoa Flo Elder of Taylorsville was also taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest. She has been released.
