Two Taylorsville Man Arrested In Connection To March Incident

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two individuals in connection with an incident reported in March 2026 in the Bethlehem Community.

Bryan Dale Johnson, 45, of Taylorsville, has been charged with:

Breaking and Entering
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny
Larceny After Breaking and Entering
Damage to Personal Property
Damage to Real Property

Johnson is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond. His first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled for April 13.

James Edward Kovach, 48, of Taylorsville, has been charged with:

Breaking and Entering
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny
Larceny After Breaking and Entering
Damage to Personal Property
Damage to Real Property

Kovach is also being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for April 13, in Alexander County District Court.
