Two Men Face Drug Charges In Alexander County

Two men are facing felony drug charges after they were arrested Sunday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

As the result of a traffic stop in Hiddenite, 45-year old Bobby Wayne Byers of Stony Point is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $5,000. April 10th is listed as a court date in Alexander County District Court.

42-year old Bradley Joe Byers of the Town of Catawba is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $5,000. Byers was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
