Two people died in a house fire early Friday morning in Wilkes County
The fire engulfed a one-story brick home in the Broadway Community. The fire was reported shortly after midnight.
Two people have been reported to have escaped the flames.
The Wilkes County Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating.
Update:
According to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office, the victims have been identified as 5-year old Ruby Elaine Eller and her father, 45-year old James Thomas Eller.
