Two accidents in Alexander County resulted in victims being airlifted to regional medical facilities over the weekend.
Saturday morning around 8am, a crash involving a motorcycle on Boston Road resulted in the victim being transported by helicopter for treatment. No update on the extent of injuries.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
Sunday evening around 7:15 pm an ATV accident was reported off Church Road in Western Alexander County. One person was airlifted as the result of the crash.
