Troutman Woman Facing Long List Of Felony Charges

On May 5, Troutman Police responded to the Quality Mart located on North Main in reference to a reported theft by an employee.

Detectives determined that Tiffany Ann Carroll, 29, of Troutman, had been stealing scratch-off lottery tickets from the business beginning in late April while she was employed by the business. Investigators found that Carroll used winnings from the stolen tickets to obtain cash and purchase additional lottery tickets.

Warrants were obtained charging Carroll with five counts of Felony Larceny by Employee and 36 counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense.

Carroll was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $100,000.
