Two Taylorsville Women Arrested After Reported Break-In

Two Alexander County women have been charged following an alleged break-in.

On Saturday, August 15th, Taylorsville Police filed the following charges

Carrie Marie Adkins

36-year-old Carrie Marie Adkins of N State Lake Dr., Taylorsville, is charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. The suspect is already on probation following a 2025 conviction for larceny and damage to property in Caldwell County. Her sentence was suspended for 24 months. Adkins is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set for $20.000.

Angela Adkins Keever

58-year-old Angela Adkins Keever of 7th ST. SW. Taylorsville, is charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. She is being held in custody under a secured bond of $15,000.

Both suspects are scheduled to make initial court appearances on Monday in Alexander County District Court.
