A Texas woman is being held under a $500,000 bond after being arrested Thursday by Hickory Police. Officers charged 47 year old Nereyda Garcia Salazar of Pasadena, Texas on counts of trafficking opium or heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver heroin, and possession of heroin. Garcia is scheduled to appear in Catawba County Court on Friday, December 14th.
