Teen From Taylorsville Held Without Bond

Noah Lee Groover, age 19 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with assault and communicating threats. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and is being held without bond . February 20th is listed as a court date.

Groover has pending charges from Catawba County for felony larceny of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun. February 19th is scheduled for a court date in Newton.
