Two Taylorsville Women Busted On Drug Charges Wednesday Morning

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two individuals following a traffic stop conducted on Wednesday, August 27, on US Highway 64/90 West.

Kisha Lashae Morgan, 34 of Taylorsville, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

One count of Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Methamphetamine
One count of Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for the Purpose of Controlled Substance Possession
One count of Simple Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance (Xanax)
One count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Morgan is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for September 8, 2025, in Alexander County District Court.

Miranda Gail Richmond, a 29-year-old also of Taylorsville, was arrested and charged with:

One count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Richmond is being held under a $5,000 secured bond at the Alexander County Detention Center. Her first court appearance is set for October 6, 2025, in Alexander County District Court.

The arrests stemmed from a traffic stop during which deputies located methamphetamine and Xanax inside the vehicle.
