Kelly Renee Collins, age 40 of Taylorsville, was ordered to serve 9 to 20 months in jail on Monday during an appearance in Alexander County Superior Court. She was found guilty of felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises. Collins will serve the sentence in the Alexander County Detention Center.
