A Taylorsville woman is being held in custody. On May 18th, 47-year-old Susan April Silva was ordered by a judge to the local jail for criminal contempt of court. She was sentenced to 30 days. Silva has pending charges from 2025 for felony possession of stolen goods and a 2024 charge of resisting a public officer.
