Taylorsville Woman Ruled In Criminal Contempt And Given 30 Days Behind Bars

A Taylorsville woman was found in contempt during an Alexander County District Court appearance on Monday. 58-year old Christine Carol Blackburn was found in criminal contempt and ordered by the judge to serve a 30-day sentence.

As previously reported, Blackburn was arrested on March 10th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is also awaiting trial in Catawba County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Those charges date to 2024.
