Gwendolyn Lesha Bowman, age 51 of Taylorsville, was arrested early today by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with felony possession of heroin and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bowman is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $10,000. An initial court appearance is scheduled for today in Newton.
