Taylorsville Woman In Custody

50-year-old Cynthia Louise Harris of Taylorsville was detained on Monday for felony probation violation. In January, Harris was found guilty of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and given a 24-month suspended sentence. She remains in custody under a secured bond of $10,000.

A 2023 Alexander County charge of felony possession of methamphetamine is also pending with the next court date set for June 2nd in Taylorsville.
