A Taylorsville woman was sentenced to a term of 5 months in jail on Monday. Tara Suzanne Smiley, age 45, was found guilty of probation violation. She entered a plea to larceny and defrauding a drug/alcohol screening. The sentence will be served concurrently meaning she will be released after 30 days.
