Taylorsville Woman Facing More Than Eighty Felony Charges

A Taylorsville woman is facing more than 80 counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense.

35-year old Megan Denae Hefner was taken into custody on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. An investigation alleges that Hefner used a victims debit/credit card to make purchases at least 81 times.

Hefner has been released under a secured bond of $16,000 and is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, December 4th.
