26-year old Brittany Nacole Williams of Taylorsville was placed in custody on Sunday. She was charged with multiple counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense and placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $25,000. As of Monday morning, she remained in jail. An Alexander County Superior Court appearance is scheduled for August 15th.
