Taylorsville Woman Charged With Fraud

An Alexander County woman is in custody after being arrested for fraud.

29-year old Alisa Marie Moretz of Taylorsville was taken into custody on Sunday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with two counts of felony fraud/obtaining property by false pretense. Moretz was allegedly using the financial card of a deceased person. Moretz was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,000.

A court date of October, 19th is scheduled in Alexander County District Court.
