The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year old Brittany Jean Blackwelder of Taylorsville on Monday. She’s been charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blackwelder is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $15,000. A court date is scheduled for Monday, June 27th.
