Donna Lisa Porter, age 54 of Taylorsville, was arrested in the pre-dawn hours of Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She’s charged with simple assault, assaulting a public officer and resisting arrest. She is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $15,000.
