Taylorsville Couple Charged With Drug Offenses

An Alexander County couple are facing drug charges.

Jessica Leeann Hampton, age 32 of Taylorsville was arrested early Thursday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She’s charged with possession of marijuana and possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Hmmpton remains in the Alexander County Detention as of earlier today. A March 11th court date is scheduled.

38-year old Jerry Wayne Seamon Jr of Taylorsville was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Seamon remains in custody as of earlier today with a bond of $10,000. Monday, February 26th is listed as a court date.
