Taylorsville Woman Apprehended After Being Served Warrant

A Taylorsville woman was arrested on Friday after an arrest warrant was issued by an Alexander County Judge.

Carma Cheryl Ann Jurney, age 48, was served the warrant for failure to appear by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office after she missed a court date on charges dating to 2024. She was charged then with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor second-degree trespass. Jurney has been released under a secured bond of $15,000. A Superior Court Date in Alexander County is scheduled for September 15th.
