Taylorsville WalMart Scuffle Leads To A Pair Of Arrests

As the result of a scuffle in the Taylorsville WalMart parking lot on Monday, two women have been detained.

Taylorsville Police arrested 35-year old Scarlett Rose Hosier and charged her with simple assault. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $5,000. Hosier is scheduled for a court appearance on April 1st.

44-year old Joy Theresa Merrill was charged with assault. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in District Court on April 1st.

Two other individuals were involved in the incident but were not charged.
