The Taylorsville Town Board decided in a special called meeting on Monday to request assistance from the N.C. League of Municipalities in the search for an interim town manager. The service will be provided free to the town.
As reported last week, Aaron Wike has requested to step down and return to his previous position as Town Public Works Director. Wike was named Town Manager in 2023 shortly after the unexpected death of then Town Manger David Odom.
The Town is under no obligation to accept or hire any recommendation from the N.C. League of Municipalities.
