Taylorsville Police Make Pre-Dawn Drug Arrest

Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 36-year old Mary Marie Roberts of Elkin around 4 am Friday morning. The arrest came as part of an investigation of a suspicious vehicle

Roberts was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roberts is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000. She is scheduled to make a court appearance on Monday, January 25th.
