Taylorsville Police Make A Pair Of Felony Drug Arrests

Two Taylorsville men were arrested on felony drug charges Friday morning by Taylorsville Police.

Luis Gerardo Lugo Negrete, age 30, is charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance. He was served warrants for a failure to appear from Wake County. He remains in custody with a bond set at $23,000. A first court appearance is scheduled for Monday in Alexander County District Court.

Christian Uriel Perez, age 31, is charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver counterfeit controlled substance. He remains in custody with a bond set at $20,000. A first court appearance is scheduled for Monday in Alexander County District Court.

Perez also has a previous charge pending for driving with license revoked.
