Taylorsville Police Charge Winston-Salem Man With Felony Offenses

A Winston-Salem man is facing charges following his Friday arrest by Taylorsville Police.

44-year old Jason Lee McBride was apprehended by Taylorsville Officers and charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver counterfeit controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen goods. McBride remains in Alexander County custody, being held without bond.

Mcbride is awaiting trial in Forsyth County for felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and felony obtaining property by false pretense. The suspect was released in February, 2024 after serving 33 months in prison on a Surry County conviction for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance.
