Taylorsville Police Charge Two With Meth Trafficking

Two women are facing felony drug charges after their arrest by Taylorsville Police.

24 year old Payton Rose Schwantes of Stony Point and 38 year-old Chrystal Gail Stikeleather of Taylorsville were taken into custody on Saturday. Both were charged with two counts of felony trafficking in methamphetamine. Stikeleather is also charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, injury to personal property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Schwantes is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000.

Stikeleather is being held under a secured bond of $60,000.

Both have court appearances scheduled for today in Alexander County District Court.
