Taylorsville Police Charge Suspect After Reported Burglary

Officers and Detectives with the Taylorsville Police Department conducted an investigation into a breaking and entering incident that occurred at a residence on 2nd Street SW.

As a result of the investigation, Tony Shawn Robbins, age 48, College Road Extension, Taylorsville, was identified as the suspect. He’s been charged with First Degree Burglary and is currently being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.

A Monday, June 1st court date is scheduled.
