Taylorsville Police Charge Suspect

On Tuesday, July 8th, Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 33-year-old Ronnie William McCurdy of Taylorsville. He’s been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with license revoked and other vehicle related offenses. McCurdy remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond set for $20,000.

McCurdy has a list of previous charges pending in Alexander County that include felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony trafficking methamphetamine, driving with license revoked and probation violation. The next Superior Court date on those charges is August 11th.
