Taylorsville Police Charge Statesville Female

A Statesville woman is facing a charge of larceny in Alexander County. On Saturday, 33-year-old Skye Mesha-Amber Maloney was arrested by Taylorsville Police after allegedly taking a list of items from the local WalMart store.

Following a court appearance on Monday, a judge set bond for $50,000 noting that the suspect is awaiting trial on a series of charges that include felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and felony possession of methamphetamine. Court documents show previous convictions for shoplifting, assault and possession of marijuana.
