Taylorsville Police arrested a Lenoir man on Thursday and charged him with multiple offenses including resisting arrest. As the result of a suspicious person complaint, 69-year-old Dexter James Auton was taken into custody. He was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, open container of alcohol and resisting arrest. Auton remains in the Alexander County Detention Center as of this report.
