A Taylorsville man was charged on Saturday by Taylorsville Police. George Gannon Strickland, age 19 of Rick Dam RD., is charged with hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident. No injuries were reported in the mishap that occurred on NC Highway 16 South. Strickland has been released under a secured bond of $2,500.
