Taylorsville Police Charge Man After Disturbance At Local Business

A Taylorsville man is in custody following an incident on Monday.

Taylorsville Police were called to a local business regarding a disturbance. Officers ended up arresting 47-year old James Spencer Howell. He’s charged with assault/communicating threats, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Howell was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $7,500. February 12th is listed as a court date.
