On Tuesday, Taylorsville Police Officers arrested 51-year old Franklin Junior Howell of Taylorsville. He was charged with felony attempting to obtain property by false pretense, felony obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny. Howell was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $3,000.
