Taylorsville Police Charge Hiddenite Man

Taylorsville Police arrested Dewayne Lee Howard, age 42 of Hiddenite, on Thursday, November 20th. He was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree trespass and resisting arrest. Howard remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $30,000. He’s scheduled to make a court appearance today in Alexander County District Court.

Howard has previous charges pending that include shoplifting-concealment of goods and second-degree trespass.
