A Statesville woman is facing a series of charges after her arrest by Taylorsville Police. Michelle Greene Brooks was charged Saturday with felony obtaining property by false pretense, larceny, and second degree trespass. The charges stem from an incident at the Taylorsville Walmart. Brooks was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $5,000 .
