30-year old Betty Anjelique Brooks of Taylorsville was arrested Wednesday by Taylorsville Police. Brooks is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of schedule IV and schedule VI controlled substances, and resisting arrest. Brooks, as of this morning remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $2,500. A Monday, March 8th court appearance is scheduled.
