Taylorsville Police Arrest Hiddenite Man On Felony Charges

Jason Tyler Dover, age 31 of Hiddenite, was arrested on Wednesday by the Taylorsville Police Department. He’s charged with felony burning certain buildings, felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dover has an extensive list of previous charges pending that include felony trafficking methamphetamine,felony trafficking schedule IV controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell and deliver schedule VI controlled substance, felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felony and various misdemeanor charges.

The latest charges are scheduled for District Court on Monday, April 8th. A Superior court date is set for July 15th.

As of earlier today, Dover is being under a $75,000 secured bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.
