Taylorsville Man Will Spend Holidays In Jail

Kenneth William Church, 59 of Taylorsville, was sentenced to serve 20 days active in the Alexander County Detention Center on Tuesday.

Church appeared in court on charges of communicating threats and second-degree trespass.

In Catawba County, Church has pending charges for felony stalking, felony violation of a domestic violence protection order and felony probation violations. He is scheduled for a Catawba County Superior Court appearance on January 19th.
